AML/CFT procedure

Last updated: 6 October 2026

DIEUMAG undertakes to ensure that its activities, and those of the platforms it publishes, including MOZAIQ, can never be used for money laundering, terrorist financing or the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. This procedure describes the measures we apply.

1. Reference framework

  • Regulation n°01/CEMAC/UMAC/CM of 11 April 2016 on the prevention and suppression of money laundering and the financing of terrorism and proliferation in Central Africa;
  • the applicable Cameroonian regulations and the guidelines of the Agence Nationale d'Investigation Financière (ANIF) [National Financial Investigation Agency];
  • the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF/GAFI).

2. Scope

This procedure applies to all members, employees, volunteers, service providers and partners of DIEUMAG, as well as to financial flows relating to our services (assessments, support, platform development) and to payments processed through MOZAIQ, in particular via Mobile Money.

3. Know your clients and partners

  • Identification of every client, partner and listed professional before any relationship is entered into: identity, valid official identity document and, for legal entities, legal existence and beneficial owners;
  • on MOZAIQ, verification of professionals before they are listed online;
  • enhanced due diligence for high-risk relationships: politically exposed persons, unusual arrangements, high-risk countries identified by the FATF;
  • regular updating of the information collected.

4. Transaction monitoring

We remain alert to transactions that are unusual in their amount, frequency or origin, or in their lack of economic justification. No cash payment exceeding the regulatory thresholds is accepted. Any transaction for which the origin or destination of the funds cannot be justified is suspended.

5. Suspicious transaction reporting

Where a transaction appears to be linked to money laundering or terrorist financing, DIEUMAG's AML/CFT officer files a suspicious transaction report with ANIF. In accordance with the regulations, the person concerned is not informed of this.

6. Record keeping

Identification documents and records relating to transactions are kept securely for at least ten (10) years from the end of the relationship or transaction, and are held at the disposal of the competent authorities.

7. Organisation and training

  • An AML/CFT officer is appointed within DIEUMAG;
  • the teams concerned receive regular awareness-raising and training;
  • this procedure is reviewed at least once a year.

8. Sanctions and reporting

Any breach of this procedure exposes the person responsible to disciplinary measures and to termination of the contractual relationship, without prejudice to any prosecution provided for by law. Any relevant information may be reported in strict confidence to support@dieumag.com.
